At least you're not an editor for the State of Oregon.
Our fine state sent out a Voter's Pamphlet the other week.
Yet again the importance of having an editor is made apparent. The correct number to call if you had questions about voting was an 866 phone number. The state sent the pamphlet out with an almost identical number that had an 800 prefix.
When voters called that number, they got a sultry-voiced woman who said “hey there, big boy. Are you looking for young @#$! women? Then call this number…”
(The morning news bleeped the @#!$% word, and I’m ashamed to admit that I’m not sure what it was.)
I welcome discussion of—and even disagreement with—my posts. But if you feel the need to call me or others rude or crude names, your comments will be deleted. I won't tolerate racism, sexism, ageism, looksism, weightism, gay-bashing, religion-bashing, culture-bashing, or any other prejudice here. Also, if your only reason for commenting is to link back to your site and not to discuss a post, your comment will be deleted.

That's a humdinger indeed! I'm so glad that I can truthfully say that I've never, ever done work for Oregon.
An oversight while spellchecking once led me to advertise myself as having experience with Pacemaker instead of PageMaker. Ack!

Bwahahaha! Helen, that's too funny!
