Cast Off!

I am delighted to write that I got home from the orthopedist's office (backstory here and here) about an hour ago ... and no longer have my cast on!

The doctor also removed the pins from my wrist, and he said that I have been so conscientious about doing my finger and hand exercises that I won't need physical therapy. He said to take it easy for one more week, and then I can go back to my usual activities, including driving. You can't imagine how much I've missed being able to drive myself anywhere I want, anytime I want.

I'm free-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee!

Greetings

I drop by peridically. Very glad to read this post. 'Though I'll bet I was nowhere near as glad to read it as you were to write it :-).

Congratulations.

Also thanks for the posting down below about who "inerrant boy" has been listening to.

I'm one of the team on Liberal Avenger. Sometimes things get a little hectic as we've acquired a fine collection of extreme right wing trolls (bless their little scaly heads.) :-)

There was a hilarious debate recently during which the "Christian " component ran round the place shrieking about how unChristian we all were - especially me what with me being a papist an' all. It felt quite like old times (my mum was protestant) and my listening to various clergymen from both "sides" telling me what would happen to me if I chose to become either a "left footer" or a "papist" respectively. All of that spurred me to join the army (peacekeeper in Lebanon) and then the peace movement in Ireland to the delight of my parents and the horror of clergy of all denominations.

Isn't it desperately sad that we've let pride and hate so blind us to the spirit of Christ?

Oh well - rant over - this started as just a "congratulations" comment. So I'll end as I begun.

Congratulations! consider yourself as having been given an electronic thumbs up :-)

Hi, Mark from Ireland. I'm very glad to have you as a reader.

It is truly sad that we humans forget what Christ and God want us to be. And it's sad that because so many of us do, non-Christians think that all Christians are always like that. It makes the good things that Christians do hard to see.

Please keep checking in. I value your voice.
