My workload has been heavy lately, but I took some time out yesterday to celebrate my daughter's twenty-fourth birthday and my mother-in-law's seventy-second birthday.
Becky and Dorie blow out the candles on their cakes while Li, my son-in-law, looks on.
Only about 6 weeks until Becky's first child is due to show up!
Becky couldn't be happier, but she's at that stage where no position—standing, sitting, lying down—is comfortable. And her baby is kicking her high in the ribs.
Yes, work, work, work! The longer I've been freelancing (more than 12 years now), the more work I have. I suppose that at 20 years, I'll never emerge from home!
Yes, MM, this will be my first grandbaby. But then there's my 12-year-old son and my 5-year-old son, so I hope to be acquiring additional grandbabies for decades to come. ;-)
I welcome discussion of—and even disagreement with—my posts. But if you feel the need to call me or others rude or crude names, your comments will be deleted. Yay for birthdays! I wondered if you had been buried under work...
Becky looks great!

Happy birthday to another Aries! Your daughter looks great, as does your m-i-l.
First grandbaby?
