I can only hope that Democratic party leaders come to their senses and drop Clinton like a highly contagious, life-threatening germ.Katharine O'Moore-Klopfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14699159708036532202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9188674.post-84611939326618766862008-05-25T18:50:00.000-04:002008-05-25T18:50:00.000-04:00I have just spent 2 hours with the Sunday NYTimes,...I have just spent 2 hours with the Sunday NYTimes, and last night 2 hours on the web making my nightly rounds to all the reputable non-mainstream news outlets I know of. Here is my take:

HRC has trotted out RFK 3 times before. She did not invoke that tragedy inadvertently. She is a poor actress. HRC is ruthless, singularly lacking in integrity, too much like many of the nation's people.

HRC was repudiated by the Kennedys when Teddy and Caroline endorsed Obama and this is payback. She is clearly dangerous to her party, the Presidency, the nation and the rest of the world. She validates the fears expressed by Michelle Obama and shared by others when Secret Service protection was provided for Obama very early in the campaign.

It would be a terrible mistake for HRC to be VP and a punishment for Obama. He would be hamstrung at raising the level of governance. I have heard many say that if she wants to be on the ticket, she will be. I don't know the process, but I think, with the party's approval, running mates are chosen by the Presidential candidate. Maybe the party will feel compelled to gratify her for fear of her merciless assaults.

It is shocking and profoundly disheartening.Betsy Davenporthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11332334981838727413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9188674.post-62688449144483055262008-05-24T18:38:00.000-04:002008-05-24T18:38:00.000-04:00Given all of the things throughout history which h...Given all of the things throughout history which have happened in June, Hellary mentions the assassination of Bobby Kennedy? An unusually close parallel to Obama or wishful thinking or maybe instructions to the wack job racist out there?

“You guys aren’t doing your job!”
That’s what I hear Hellary saying!
Maybe that’s just me, …. we will find out at Barak’s wake.Steve Ballmerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03700148299332589776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9188674.post-79689663572088484022008-05-24T08:07:00.000-04:002008-05-24T08:07:00.000-04:00This sounds like a veiled threat to assassinate Ob...This sounds like a veiled threat to assassinate Obama to me. Well, I certainly don't remember that; I was a year and a half old! But I'm sure my older sisters remember it, and their older friends remember it. It was one of the defining moments of that generation. Despite what she's saying now, I don't think it was spontaneous; I think it was a calculated last-ditch plea to her Boomer base. "See, I remember the same things you do! Our history is important!"MJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06391448249487915896noreply@blogger.com
